A bit offshore in Llanfairfechan so tried West Shore. Folks on 3.6 - 4.5m which showed how gusty it was. Went 4.2m, and found 3.7m would have been fine most of time. Almost survival sailing but strangely great fun even if quite gusty; pleased to get quite a few outside gybes in big chop and underlying swells, and got most inside one, some very good in flat water behind breakwater. Helpful rigging and gybing tips from Adrian in strong winds and much more comfortable after that with moving fin forward after knocked back on sand, even when well over 30 knots for a spell. Also some tips on wave sailing to try next time in Rhosneigr.
